France continues to be in the spotlight in this second part of the season. We talked about FIP Rise Bandol, Paris Major, Cupra FIP Finals of Bourg-en-Bresse… but we should not forget the FIP Gold Lyon which will take place from October 8 to 13.

For the first time, Lyon will host an international competition padel for ladies and gentlemen with un prize money of 50.000 €. This is the second time in France that a FIP Gold will be organized. The first took place in Perpignan in 2022, with the only difference that only men were invited to the event! In Lyon, we will find a women's table and a men's table.

The qualifications will take place at the start of the week in a club in Lyon. For the moment, we do not yet know which club will host the previous. Then, the final draw will continue from Thursday October 10 to Sunday October 13, 2024 at Palais des Sports de Gerland in Lyon.

According to the organizers, around sixty pairs are expected in Lyon for the entire competition. In total, this would represent more than a hundred matches played!

Another thing to know: the municipality has committed to a period of three years, thus guaranteeing the holding of the FIP Gold Lyon from 2024 to 2026.
