There are no more French people in advance of the FIP Gold from Valladolid, with three defeats to deplore this Wednesday for the French delegation.

After dominating the Spanish-Dutch pair Notenboom / Pulido yesterday (7/6 6/4), Thomas Vanbauce and Maxime Joris hoped to do the same today against the Spanish pair Cuevas / Naranjo but they lost in two sets : 6/4 7/5.

Having advanced to the second round thanks to a withdrawal, Bastien Blanqué and Dylan Guichard began their tournament today against Aragon / Cabeza. Although seeded 1 in qualifying, the French lost a big fight against the Spaniards: 7/6 6/7 6/4.

Defeat also for Camille Sireix and the Spaniard Carla Pozuelo against the 3rd seed Varo / C.Fassio: 6/3 6/3.

All is not lost for the Blues, however, as three Frenchmen make their debut in the main draw tomorrow. We will have : Godallier / Marchetti vs Rodriguez / Rodriguez (TS2), Colombon / Bidahorria (TS6) vs Castillon / Piltcher and Leygue / Valenzuela vs Cepero / Benitez (TS8).
