The French involved in  Hong Kong FIP  got their tournament off to a good start, with a particularly solid opening performance from the pair  Julien Seurin / Thomas Vanbauce who qualifies for the next round.

Seurin / Vanbauce are not trembling

Seeded 5,  Julien Seurin and Thomas Vanbauce  They made no mistake in their entry into the competition. Facing the Colombians Nino / Nino, they won easily in two sets (6/0 6/0).

A clear victory that allows them to reach the round of 16 with confidence.

In the next round, they will face the qualifying pair made up of Argentinians.  Hernan Cortez / Raul Alberto Guardia A match within their grasp on paper, but one to approach with seriousness against players already well into the tournament.

Alexandra Fouquet loses after a close match

In the women's table,  Alexandra Fouquet associated with the Chinese  Z. Yu , lost in the first round to the Hong Kong pair Law / Sher.

Despite putting up a good fight, the Franco-Chinese pair lost in three sets (3-6, 6-4, 7-5) after a hard-fought match. Having leveled the score at one set apiece, Fouquet and his partner were unable to pull away in the deciding set.
