International padel will make its grand return to Lyon this fall.  23 27 in September 2026 , the  Gerland Sports Palace  will welcome  3rd edition of the FIP Platinum  Lyon  , one of the major events on the international calendar organized in France. The qualifying rounds will take place beforehand, the  21th & 22th September before the main table is launched.

After two initial editions that helped establish the event in the French padel scene, the organizers are once again announcing a  very high-level platform , with many  players in the world's Top 20  expected on the three tracks set up in the heart of the Palais des Sports.

Two months before the event, the tournament unveiled its  official poster , a symbol of the launch of the communication campaign for this 2026 edition.

The objective is clear: to make  Lyon Platinum Padel  One of the highlights of the French sporting season. Between the spectacle, the indoor atmosphere and the presence of the best players in the world, all the ingredients seem to be there to offer five days of top-level competition to both enthusiasts and the curious.

Lyon confirms its status on the international stage

The tournament has now established itself as one of the major events of the  FIP Tour , a Platinum category that brings together several of the world's best pairs each season in search of valuable FIP ranking points. Organized at  Gerland Sports Palace The Lyon event benefits from a historic setting capable of accommodating several thousand spectators in a configuration specially adapted to padel.

The matches will take place from Wednesday to Sunday, with a schedule that will gradually lead up to the semi-finals and finals scheduled for the  September 27 .

One thing is already certain:  The start of the 2026 season looks set to be explosive for French padel. , and Lyon intends to confirm its place among the major international stages of the discipline.
