This is the last-minute blow: Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto, initially announced as headliners of the FIP Platinum Lyon, will ultimately not be not presentAn absence that inevitably disappoints the spectators, but the line-up remains exceptional with several world top 20 players and high-flying posters from the first round.
Di Nenno / Leal inherit the status of seed 1
With this package, the pair Martín Di Nenno / Javi Leal becomes seeded 1 of the tournament. And fate has not given them any gifts: they will face the pair from their first match Javier Valdés / Agustín Gutiérrez, for a clash that could easily have been higher in the table, showing the high level of the tournament.
Just behind, the seeded 2, Momo González / Fran Guerrero, will cross paths with José Jiménez / Maxi Sánchez : another explosive entry poster.
The French are ready to fight
- Yoan Boronad and Timéo Fonteny will start against the seeded 6, Javi Garrido / Diego Gil, a huge challenge. Fonteny, however, already knows his opponents well: he had beaten Diego Gil with Benjamin Tison in an FIP Gold earlier in the season.
- Dylan Guichard and Manuel Vives, reigning French champions, will inherit a more affordable but tricky first round against Alberto García Jiménez / Víctor Tur Checa.
- Johan Bergeron and Bastien Blanqué, they, pulled a good batch : they will face a team from the qualifications, before a possible tough duel against Edu Alonso / Juan Tello ou Juan Cruz Belluati / Álvaro Montiel in the next round.
Dream halves
If logic is respected, the semi-finals could offer level shocks Premier Padel :
- Di Nenno / Leal face Barahona / Garcia
- Alonso / Tello salary. González / Guerrero
Posters that promise a very high level on the Lyon slopes.

- La wildcard Kimy Barla / Lou Lambert Agosti will immediately face the seeded 2, Lucía Sainz / Alejandra Alonso de Villa.
- The other wildcard, Camille Sireix / Melissa Martin, will cross the seeded 8, Nuria Rodríguez / Giulia Dal Pozzo.
- Alix Collombon / Jessica Ginier will start against the seeded 4, Aranza Osoro / Victoria Iglesias, not the best of draws for the Lyonnaises who come up against a pair from the world top 20.
- Carla Touly / Lucía Peralta will find Carolina Navarro / Mónica Gómez Rivas, Touly has already beaten Carolina Navarro this season.
- Léa Godallier / Giorgia Marchetti will have a more open draw against Ana Domínguez / Aida Martínez.
- Finally, the local Lucile Potier et Louise Bahurel will face a team from the qualifications, before a potential second round against Osoro / Iglesias ou Collombon / Ginier.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
