Au  FIP Platinum Seville   Léa Godallier  successfully entered the fray,  Amelie Detriviere  saw his run end in the first round of the main draw.

Godallier makes a successful entry into Seville

 Léa Godallier  (59) started her tournament perfectly. Associated with the Spanish  Esther Butcher  (57), the Frenchwoman won without trembling against  Maria Delgado Medina  (216) et  María Arteaga Vilches  (413). Final score:  6 / 2 6 / 3 .

A good start before a round of 8 match which promises to be tough: Godallier and Carnicero will challenge the number 7 seed tomorrow,  Carmen Goenaga (22) and Beatriz Caldera   (19) , recent finalists of the  Bordeaux P2  and quarter-finalists of the  Paris Major .

Detriviere, a positive experience despite everything

Beaten in qualifying,  Amelie Detriviere  (204), associated with  Teresa Casero de la Casa  (277), benefited from the status of  lucky loser  to enter the main draw. But the draw was not kind: the Franco-Spanish pair fell to  Carolina orsi  (32) et  Martina Fassio Goyeneche  (45), players in the world's top 50. Result: logical defeat  6 / 2 6 / 2 .

Despite the elimination, the Frenchwoman leaves with valuable experience against a high-level pair, and will be able to capitalize on this main draw by  FIP Platinum .
