Little sensation at the FIP Rise Bandol with the qualification ofArthur Hugounenq et Timeo Fonteny for the quarter-finals of the tournament. The duo won against their compatriots, Julien Seurin et Maxime Moreau (TS3), at the end of a huge three-set fight: 6/2 3/6 6/1.

It was a mental victory for the Hugounenq / Fonteny pair who, after a very good first set, were caught by the favorites of the match, who managed to show a better image of themselves. It was a first tournament for Julien Seurin and Maxime Moreau, who were both trying a new combination... and which didn't necessarily work.

Arthur and Timéo were in “mode”recital” with big defenses and powerful smashes, despite the fairly slow conditions of the track. Timéo Fonteny will have every interest in remaining in this good dynamic since he is heading to Aix to play the French U18 Championships.
