This morning, Thomas Vanbauce et Simon Wagner performed well at the FIP Rise of Bandol by imposing 6 / 4 6 / 4 facing Pablo Simon Garcia and Alberto Simon Garcia. They will play again this evening in the quarter-final at 20 p.m. against the 1st seed: Marco Cassetta (100) and Alvaro Montiel Caruso (109).

Post-match reactions:

Simon Wagner: "It was played over two breaks, an entry break in the first set and in the 2nd set, we broke at the best moment at 4-4, on a small play on a punto de oro. We are very happy to get out of it."

Thomas Vanbauce: "We were very strong on service games where it's very hard to break us in these conditions, where things come out a lot, where we don't ask too many questions. And for once, things are working out for us, we make two breaks at the best time. As we are aggressive and we try to have opportunities, in any case we create them, well it works for us."
