Le FIP Rise Box To Box Agency continues on the port of Bandol, offering a high-level spectacle with show and impressive performances. The French particularly distinguished themselves by managing to reach the semi-finals of this international tournament.

Two more French pairs

Among the men, we were guaranteed to have at least one French pair in the semi-final, and unsurprisingly, the number 5 seed, Blanqué/Joris, managed to overcome the Hugounenq/Fonteny obstacle in two sets: 7 /6 6/3. The French pair will face the number 1 seed, Cassetta/Montiel, well known to the French public. Advantage for the Spanish-Italian pair, but Bastien Blanqué and Maxime Joris have many weapons to make their opponents doubt. Especially since, during the previous round, Cassetta/Montiel was strongly pushed by Vanbauce/Wagner. The match is scheduled for 17 p.m.

In the lower part of the table, the young Spanish-Argentinian pair, Hernandez/Valenzuela, obtained their ticket for the semi-finals by beating Vincent/Grué in two sets: 6/4 6/2. It was the number 7 seed, Coello/Castro, who won against the number 4 seed, Medina Murphy/Garcia Jimenez, in the quarter-final: 2/6 6/3 7/5.

This match between Spanish speakers will be played from 14:30 p.m. on the central track.

For the ladies, no surprises since the first four seeds meet in the semi-final. We will therefore have a French pair in the last four: the number 2 seed, Carla Touly and Jessica Ginier.

For the moment, the French are playing their game, even if they experienced some scares, notably against the Franco-Spanish pair Marie Rondot/Leire Uriarte Medina in the quarter-final. There are ups and downs in their matches, which could be fatal for them if they cannot resolve their inconsistency.

In the semi-final, they will face the number 3 seed, Atencia/Ortiz, who emerged victorious in their quarter-final against Pothier/Soubrié: 7/5 6/2. On paper, the French pair Ginier/Touly seems favorite. But watch out for the Spanish pair, who could exploit the flaws observed in the French game during the previous rounds.

At the top of the table, the number 1 seed of the tournament, Perez Parra/Dominguez Gracia, did not come far from elimination after losing the first set to the Franco-Spanish pair Sireix/Santamaria Landa. The Spanish pair was able to raise their level of play to win in three sets: 4/6 6/2 6/3. However, we can draw a lot of positive points from it, with the level of play of the French women continuing to grow... The number 1 seed will be opposed to another Spanish pair, Portillo/Pozuelo, who did not have to force themselves in quarter-final to win in two sets: 6/3 6/1 against Raluca Sandu/Ivet Val Lopez.
