For their first partnership this season, Jessica Ginier et Helena Wyckaert strike a big blow by qualifying for the semi-finals of the FIP Rise in Barcelona.

After overthrowing the number nine seeded pair at the end of the morning, the two players faced a new Spanish team made up of Martina Calvo (162e) and Camilla Fassio (55th). Ginier and Wyckaert got the best start, before being tied at one round all. More enterprising in important moments, they managed to put an end to the suspense in the last act: 6/4 – 3/6 – 6/4.

The Frenchwoman enters the last four of a FIP Rise for the second time in a row after Burriana. The Franco-Belgian pair will have a great opportunity to seize in semi-final at 10 a.m. against the Spanish Jana Montes (124e) and Raquel Eugenio (146e).
