While waiting for the headliners to enter the final draw, five Tricolores will begin the FIP Rise of Burriana in qualifying on Thursday morning.

Among the Ladies, Laura Buteau is best placed to try to make her way into the main draw. Seeded number seven, the Frenchwoman is associated with the Italian Michela Zaccagnini and will face the pair Barrios/Melero Fernandez in the first round of preliminary.

The 100% French team also present in the women's qualifications is made up of Marianne Vandaele et Amelie Detriviere. The Blues have unfortunately inherited the worst possible draw, since they will have to compete against the favorites of the qualifiers, Francesca Ligotti et Maria Arteaga Vilches.

On the side of the Gentlemen, Yoan Boronad et Timeo Fonteny are the only French who will play the previas in Burriana. The two juniors will take part in their third FIP event after Bourg-en-Bresse last year and Monaco this month. They will play in the first round against two Spaniards, the brothers Pablo et Alberto Simon Garcia.

Details: The Boronad / Fonteny pair finally forfeits the FIP Buriana and that of Barcelona. Timéo Fonteny has tendonitis located in the shins of both legs. He will also have to skip the P2000 in Caen.
