The FIP Rise of Cordoba started this Monday, and on the five French women involved in the competition, four validated their ticket for the second round!

The two 100% French pairs of this Andalusian FIP Rise started the competition well. Facing the Rodriguez sisters, Wendy Barsotti and Élodie Invernon were solid to win in two sets: 7/5 6/3.

It was more complicated for Mélissa Martin and Amélie Detriviere who still manage against the qualified Miret and Elliott: 6/2 3/6 6/3.

Unfortunately, the fifth tricolor engaged in the competition did not experience the same fortune. Indeed, opposed to the seeded 2 of the tournament, Schuck / Pinacho, Carla Touly and the Spanish Rosa had started very well, before seeing their opponents pass the second and win 1/6 6/1 6/2 .

The two French duos therefore play again this Tuesday in the eighth. For both pairs, it will be against seeded players. Indeed, Martin and Detriviere inherit pair 3, Gomez/Lopez, while Barsotti and Invernon will face pair 6, Cano/Llobera.
