As for the French pair Carla Touly / Jessica Ginier, we knew before the start of the competition that they had inherited a complicated sixteenth against the Spanish-Swedish pair, Girdo / Varo Ramos. And yet, the French pair did not come far from the surprise of the tournament with a defeat in three sets: 6/2 5/7 6/3.

Really a shame for the French pair who, in other circumstances, could have gone further in this picture. However, the fact that Jessica Ginier does not bring enough points to the pair is a risk (note to be moderated since Jessica is nevertheless the 111th player in the world). And as we saw with this bad draw, it led to a too-early defeat. In addition, the loot is meager with only 2 points gained.
