Steffi Merah and Marie Rondot qualified this Thursday for the main draw of the FIP Rise Diputacion de Malaga (which is played in Marbella).

After benefiting from a forfeit in the first round of the previas, the French went to seek their qualification for the main draw on the field. They disposed of the Spaniards Arroyo (549) and Mayoral Estrada (628) in two sets: 7/5 7/5.

Thanks to this victory, the young French join their compatriots Fiona Ligi, Charlotte Soubrié and Camille Sireix in the main draw.

The five French women play the first round of the competition this afternoon.
