Three 100% French pairs will be present today, for the second round of qualifications, at the FIP Rise Monaco at the Monte Carlo club.

Today, Nathan Courrin et Derek Gerson (TS4) will try to join the main draw of this FIP Rise in Monaco, where 8 French players are already present. To achieve this, they must already pass this second round of qualifying, to hope to play for their place tomorrow in the last match of the previas. This morning, they will fight with Christos Asimakopoulos and Antonios Asimakopoulos, both unclassified in the FIP.

Then we will find the young people Timeo Fonteny et Yoan Boronad, who will not have an easy match to play since they will face the Italians Pierantonio Gherardi (768) and Gianmarco Gherardi (963), seeded 3 of these previas.

Finally, Benjamin Tullou et Vincent Charreau will be the last French players to enter the track. The two Frenchmen, not classified in the FIP, will face a 100% Belgian pair: Gil Tremouroux (1814) and Charles Mickey Guerin (963).

Matches start at 9 a.m. on the side of the principality, but not before 10 h for Fonteny/Boronad and Gerson/Courrin, in second rotation of the morning. Tullou and Chareau will enter the track in third rotation this morning.

In case of victory, the French will be expected on the track this afternoon, from 14h, for the third round of previas.

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
