FIP Rise Nola – Six French people in the quarter-finals this evening!

Idyllic day so far for the six French people competing at the FIP Rise Nola. The three 100% French pairs qualified for the quarter-finals of this tournament in Italy.

Earlier in the afternoon, Maxime Joris et Thomas Vanbauce managed to secure their place in the quarter-finals, after a victory over Manuel Rocafort Lores (159) and Federico Dip Nazar (403). The two French players continue their crazy adventure in Nola. From now on, they will have a hard time facing Simone Cremona (120) and Lorenzo Di Giovanni (126) (TS6).

Among the ladies, it also goes for Jessica Ginier et Carla Toully who won in two sets against Caterina Maria Baldi (132) and Giulia Dal Pozzo (414). Victory 6 / 3 6 / 3 for Jess and Carla who are playing again this evening against seed 1 : Noemi Aguilar Carrillo (69) and Letizia Maria Manquillo Alarza (66).

Charlotte Soubrié and Lucile Pothier are also qualified for the quarter-finals after their “surprise” victory against the 5th seed, Ares Llobera Irun (101) / Maite Cano Pou (101). Charlotte and Lucile put up a big match to get rid of their opponents. Victory 6/0 3/6 6/2.

They too will have a big battle to fight to reach the semi-finals. They will be opposed to Ana Varo Ramos (80) and Lorena Alonso De Lera (73), the 2 seed of this tournament.
