Le FIP Rise Sassuolo is also particularly attractive for players, and especially for French women players. Indeed, while in the men's category a good part of the French contingent went to Montenegro, the French women went to Italy, to Sassuolo, for this FIP Rise which has a women's and men's draw, and which begins this Wednesday, September 18.
In the men
Alone Manu Vives will represent France, alongside its Spanish partner Eneko Arija. The recent winners of the FIP Rise London, however, face a problem: the Franco-Spanish pair will only be the 10th seed in the draw. In short, they will not benefit from protected status and could fall in the first rounds to one of the 8 seeds of the tournament.
This tournament promises to be particularly tough, with the presence of Rubio/Lijo in seed 1, Garcia/Solbes, and 7 players from the world top 100, including 3 pairs to absolutely avoid. We also find the winners of the FIP Bandol, Marco Cassetta/Alvaro Montiel, as well as the brothers DEUS. The Italian team will also be present, confirming the density of this tournament. It is not certain that the Franco-Spanish pair will make the trip for such a tournament, given the costs and challenges that it implies.
In the ladies
The women's tournament promises to be just as competitive with 12 players from the world's top 100. Camille Sireix et Ainize Santamaria will be the 17th pair in the table. We will also find Marianne Vandaele/Cayetana Sanchez Vera, Melissa Martin/Amélie-Amélie Dardaine and Tiffany Phaysouphanh/Fiona LigiIn total, 6 French women will be at the start of this great competition.
