Of the six French people involved on the first day of  FIP Rise Stratford , only two managed to qualify for the 8th finals:  Steffi Merah  et  Man Vives The two French teams will play this morning to try to secure a place in the quarter-finals, which will be played later in the day.

As for the other two French pairs, Senjean / Marcarie and Détrivière / Vandaele, they fell in the first round. On the one hand,  Amelie Detriviere  et  Marianne Vandaele  had no chance against Tia Louisa Norton (140) and Stephanie Weterings (88) (TS6) and lost  6 / 2 6 / 2 .

For  Cassandra Senjean  et  Manon Marcarie , the meeting was closer and we could have hoped for a long time for a comeback French women against Ainize Santamaria Landa (176) and Catherine Rose (158). Unfortunately, the Bordeaux players ended up losing in three sets:  3/6 6/3 2/6 .

It was her brother who one day told her to accompany him to a padel court, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the retransmission of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
