The 2025 FIP Tour kicks off in Australia with a traditional first leg alongside the Australian Open tennis tournament, from January 12 to 26, 2025. This edition will also inaugurate a new category, the FIP Silver, equivalent to a FIP Star. The FIP Silver Australian Padel Open will be held from January 2 to 5.

The French are starting this season in force, since there will be 7 of them heading to the other side of the world, including 3 pairs that are 100% French. As a general rule, the French representatives shine during their trips to Asia or Oceania, collecting maximum points for the world ranking.

In the men's competition, two 100% French pairs feature in the main draw. Philemon Raichman (221) et Julien Seurin (150), seeded No. 2, as well as Nicolas Rouanet (364) et Pierre-Vincent (332), pair 9, will try to shine.

To Julien Seurin, the objective is clear: to repeat last year's result when he won the two Australian events alongside Manu Vives. This time he will be paired with another player, Philemon Raichman. On paper, the No. 2 seeded pair are among the tournament's favourites. The semi-finals could be a tricky turn, however, with a possible clash against the No. 4 seed, the Spaniards. Joel Olivera et Guillem Figuerola, where we find the former partner of Thomas Leygue, currently ranked 217th in the world.

On their side, Rouanet et Pierre will form a dangerous pair, but their first round promises to be tough with an opening clash against the No. 6 seed, the Spaniards. Sergio Esteban et Paul Pastor.

In qualifying, another Frenchman, Bastien Faoro, will team up with the Portuguese Andrew FerreiraThey will first face the number 1 seed in the qualifiers, the Spanish-Japanese pair Momokawa / Coll Lorenzo.

In the women's tournament, the tournament will bring together 14 pairs in total. Among them, the French Camille Sireix et Marie-Amelie Dardaine, seeded No. 5, will have a great opportunity to score valuable points and go far in the competition.
