End of course for Marie Maligo and Marie Lefevre at the FIP Silver Bandol. The wild cards were beaten in quarterfinal by seed 1, Maria Eulalia Rodriguez Abajo and Sandra Bellver Fructuoso , on the score of 6 / 2 6 / 2 .
A step too high against an experienced team
Despite a real desire to move forward and several great sequences, Lefevre and Maligo came up against teams stronger than them. The Spanish duo, well positioned defensively, managed to neutralize the offensives Maligo and Lefevre before making the difference in attacking position. The statistics speak for themselves: 29 winning points to 19 , notably thanks to better smash efficiency.
On the other side, we felt the experience of the highest level: management of weak moments, tactical lucidity, and surgical finishing in key moments.

A very good run for both players
Despite this defeat, the tournament remains largely positive for Maligo and Lefevre. Having entered the main draw thanks to an invitation, they were able to seize their chance in the first round , by imposing itself in a duel salary. Melissa Martin and Steffi Merah on the score of 7/6 6/1.
In the round of 16, they then achieved a real size performance , beating Marta Eugenio Barrera / Erika Mesa Martinez on the score of 6 / 3 6 / 4 , confirming their excellent level of play and their complementarity on the field.
A promising debut for Lefevre on the FIP circuit
For Marie Lefevre , who was arguing his first FIP tournament , this course is full of hope. By shining against much higher ranked players, elle was able to show a very good level.
The duo can leave this week proud of his career , with solid benchmarks for the next deadlines.
I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
