FIP Silver Caen Men's Semi-Finals  delivered their verdict this Saturday at  Parc des Expositions  , in front of a very enthusiastic crowd. Two matches with very different scenarios, featuring the top seeds  3 and 4  will be present at the final.

Ayats/Cepero end Insa/Fuertes' surprise run

In the first semi-final,  Álvaro Cepero and Arnau Ayats (TS4)  They perfectly mastered their subject in the face of the tournament's surprise package.  Ferran Insa and Iago Fuertes , who defeated the number 1 seed Ruiz / Rubio in the quarter-finals.

From the very first set, the difference was clear. Insa and Fuertes conceded an early break and were never able to keep up with the pace set by Ayats and Cepero, who were very clean in their play and solid in the rallies. The first set was one-sided.

The second set was closer. Insa and Fuertes clearly raised their level and held their own against the 4th seed, but in the key moments, experience made the difference.  Three break points earned, three converted for Ayats / Cepero , against  zero opportunity  for their opponents. Total effectiveness.

Special mention to  Arnau Ayats Simply monstrous. Dominating in every area, he soars above the statistics and consistently makes the difference, perfectly supported by a  Cepero very solid Clean and with few mistakes. A logical and controlled victory that sends TS4 to the final.

Santigosa/Sintes make a strong statement by knocking out the 2nd seed

 Daniel Santigosa and Marc Sintes (TS3)  pulled off a major coup by eliminating  Patiniotis / Torre (TS2)  in two sets:  6 / 3 6 / 4 .

Santigosa delivered a top-level performance. Omnipresent, incisive with his vibora, and very solid in defense, he constantly put pressure on the opposing pair. Alongside him,  Marc Sintes  played his role perfectly, displaying great consistency and real solidity in important moments.

Opposite,  Patiniotis and Torre  They alternated between good and less good performances. Capable of some very beautiful sequences, but too inconsistent, they paid the price for an excessive number of unforced errors.  38 unforced errors , against  28  for Santigosa / Sintes. At this level, the sanction is immediate.

A well-deserved victory for the two young Spaniards, who confirm their excellent momentum and secure a place in the final.

The final will therefore oppose  Ayats / Cepero (TS4)  à  Santigosa / Sintes (TS3) , an unprecedented duel between two pairs brimming with confidence.
