Engaged in the FIP Silver Cyprus, Charlotte Soubrié and Louise Bahurel and Carla Touly and Ana Dominguez saw their fine run come to an end just outside the final this Sunday, despite some very good performances throughout the week.
After one comeback to the quarter-finals (4/6 7/5 6/3), Soubrié and Bahurel failed to continue their momentum against the number 3 seed, Lorena Vano (70) et Emily Stelato (92)On court 3, the French were dominated from the start of the match, losing heavily 6 / 0 6 / 2A logical defeat against a higher ranked pair, but the experience gained remains precious.
On their side, Carla Touly and the Spanish Ana Dominguez (TS2) had signed a very nice upset in the quarter-finals (4/6 6/1 7/5). In the semi-finals, they faced the pair Camila Fassio (93) / Monica Gomez (79). Despite a second set won with authority, Touly and Dominguez finally gave in 6/2 1/6 6/2.
If the outcome may leave some regrets, notably for Touly and Dominguez, who seemed able to reach the final, These two semi-finals remain positive results. Each pair leaves with 25 FIP points, a good boost for the ranking.
The rest is coming soon: Charlotte Soubrié and Louise Bahurel will be engaged from Monday in the Brussels P2 qualifications, where they will try to extend their good momentum. Carla Toully, as for her, will be followed at FIP Silver Leiria in Portugal, alongside a new Italian partner Martina Parmigiani (105).

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
