Last Frenchman in the running on the  FIP Silver Oeiras ,  Dylan Guichard (133th)  lost this Sunday in the semi-final alongside the Italian  Giulio Graziotti (123rd) The Franco-Italian pair gave in after a huge fight against the Paraguayans.  Mariano Agustin Gonzalez San Martin (230th)  et  Martin Abud (189th)  :  6/3 4/6 7/6 .

A match that was close until the end

Seeded eighth in the tournament, Guichard and Graziotti confirmed their progress throughout the week. After a missed first set, they were able to respond to a difficult third set. It all came down to mental strength, and the Franco-Italian duo ultimately succumbed in a decisive tiebreak. A real disappointment, given the final was within reach.

Positive things despite everything

If the ranking gave a slight advantage to the French and the Italian, their Paraguayan adversaries remain references of the A1 Padel , a circuit that does not reflect their true value in the FIP rankings. Losing so close to the final against this type of opposition remains encouraging.
