The Brazilian adventure of Johan Bergeron (121) and Bastien Blanqué (112) ends in semi final du FIP Silver Rio Grande. Opposed to the Argentinians Maximiliano Sanchez Blasco (171st) and Felipe Calleja (412th), seeded 8th in the tournament, the French believed they had secured their place in the final before finally giving in three sets : 6/7 6/3 6/4.
A hard blow, especially since the table had opened up for them after the surprise elimination of the favourites. Alvaro Melendez Amaya (81st) and Facundo Dominguez (67th) in the quarter-finals by their opponents of the day. With such an opportunity, Bergeron and Blanqué had a good card to play, but the solidity of the Argentinians made the difference in this semi-final.
In the other semi-final, Facundo Rodrigo Luis Lopez (1008) and Santiago Rolla (232) also create surprise by eliminating seeded 2 José Luis Gonzalez and Marco Casseta on the score of 3/6 6/4 6/3.
The final will therefore pit two unexpected pairs against each other.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
