Carla Touly and Carmen Castillón continued their successful run at the FIP Silver Romania, with a convincing run to the semi-finals. The Franco-Spanish duo turned around a difficult situation against Serrano Gonzalez / Ferran Diaz (TS5), winning 1/6 6/2 6/1.
The match had gotten off to a very bad start for Touly and Castillón, who were completely dominated in the first set. Trailing 1/6, they were able to change their attitude and strategy to reverse the trend. More accurate in their choices, they took the upper hand in the rallies to win the next two sets with authority.
Touly and Castillón will face the tournament's top seeds, Polo Bautista and Aguilar Carrillo, tomorrow morning for a spot in the final. A tall order, but not an insurmountable one for the Franco-Spanish pair, who have shown they can step up their game at the right time.
The match is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. (French time) on center court.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
