The tournament  Sandigliano  (Italy) is doing rather well against the French, with several pairs still in contention for the quarter-finals.

 In the men 

 Boronad / Fonteny  did not disgrace themselves against the number 1 seed Perino / Huete, but lost  6 / 4 6 / 4  despite a great battle.

 Guimet / Hugounenq , after a close match against Basso / Robert ( 6/1 3/6 7/5 ), did it again in the last 16 with a marathon victory against the Italians Ferrero / Bagarello:  7/6 6/7 6/1 . They will face the formidable  Olsson / Windahl  (TS6).

 Bergeron / Blanqué , seeded 3, fell to the Italians  Iriart / Salandro  on the score of  6 / 4 6 / 3 .

 Rouanet / Huysveld  continue their fine run. After a hard-fought victory in two tie-breaks against Turchetti / Rosingana ( 7 / 6 7 / 6 ), they eliminate the seed 7  Hossam / Lacamoire  ( 7 / 6 6 / 4 ) and will meet in the quarter-finals… the conquerors of Blanqué / Bergeron.

 In the ladies 

On the feminine side,  Ginier / Pappacena  easily disposed of Di Battista / Candelieri ( 6 / 1 6 / 2 ) and will play the 3rd seed  Portillo / Parmigiani  in quarter.

In a very tricolor duel,  Bahurel / Pothier  impose themselves in the face of  Vandaele / Chamli  ( 7 / 6 6 / 4 ) and qualify for the quarterfinals where they will challenge the Spanish  Cañellas / Cañellas  (TS4).

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
