The Italian adventure ends in  quarterfinal  to  Nicolas Rouanet (266th)  et  Isaac Huysveld (242nd)  au  FIP Silver Sant'Elpidio . Opposed to the  seeded 2 , made of  Guillermo Collado Losada (68rd)  et  Pol Hernandez (48th) , the Franco-Belgian pair logically lost 6/3 6/4 to two players from  world top 100 .

Before this meeting, Rouanet and Huysveld had started their tournament perfectly. First with a  solid entrance  against the Italians Farabbi / Correa (6/3 6/4), then with a  eighth final mastered  against Abbate / Sioulis (6/4 6/0). Convincing victories which propelled them to the quarter-finals.

Despite the gap in ranking, they did not give up against Collado / Hernandez and left with  14 FIP points . Both players are now listed in  waiting list for the Paris Major , and could hope for a  FFT wild card  to tread the slopes of Roland-Garros.
