At the same time as the WPT Alicante Open, the secondary circuit takes place: the Dubai FIP Star. Once their tournament ended in the Valencian community, our French flew to Dubai to play this tournament.
During the quarter-finals which were played yesterday in Dubai, our French shone!
Indeed, Benjamin Tison and Johan Bergeron won their match 6/0 6/3. They were able to show a high level of play to win this game in control.
The girls also performed very well! Indeed, Wendy Barsotti and Jessica Ginier dominated the seeded 2 of the tournament, Ana Maria Cabrejas and Julia Polo: 7/6 7/6!
The semi-finals will take place this Saturday and will be followed by the final.
