A new era is opening for our sport! For the 12th European Championships of Padel of the FIP, 18 countries will be represented, a record. These nations will meet in Marbella.

With a record number of participants, the FIP will have to organize for the first time qualifications to have a final table with 16 teams.

The European Championships will proceed as follows. Among the 18 nations that have confirmed their presence:

  • 12 of them will be directly qualified for the final table
  • The 6 other countries will have to make a qualification to integrate this final table. They will be divided into two pools of 3 to take the 4 remaining places.

Here is the list of countries entered for the 12th European Championships of Padel :

Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Italy, Lithuania, Monaco, Norway, Poland, Russia, San Marino, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Note the absence of Portugal ...

Marbella is the city that saw the arrival of padel in Europe, and it will make history again. Indeed, it will host the European Championships with the largest number of participants to date.

In addition, there will be countries which will only be represented for the pair table and not for the team table. This means that there will actually be even more countries represented during the competition. There is no doubt that these nations will soon have a full team to enter the team table.

We can't wait for it to start, just a little more patience: the 12th European Championships will take place from June 28, 2021 to July 4, 2021.
