The CUPRA FIP Finals, contested in Bourg-en-Bresse, concludes the FIP TOUR 2024 which has spread across five continents with 115 tournaments in one year with two great finals and two winners: Marina Guinart / Victoria Iglesias in the women's category, as well as Fran Guerrero / Jairo Bautista in the men's category. These two pairs, seeded 1, were able to impose themselves to end the year in style.

Guinart and Iglesias shatter Alix Collombon's dream

In the women's category, Marina Guinart and Victoria Iglesias won their first title on the FIP circuit by beating the Franco-Spanish pair Alix Collombon and Araceli Martinez. The final was fiercely contested, with each team winning a set before Guinart and Iglesias completely dominated the deciding set. After a first set won 6-4, Collombon and Martinez managed to equalize by snatching the second (5-7). However, the third set turned into a demonstration, with the Spanish inflicting a stinging 6 - 0 to conclude.

Guerrero and Bautista confirm their supremacy

On the men's side, Fran Guerrero and Jairo Bautista confirmed their excellent form by winning their third trophy of the season, after their victories in FIP Platinum Marbella and FIP Gold Lyon. Facing Nachi Sager and Lucas Campagnolo, the Spaniards won a balanced first set (7-5) before largely dominating the second set (6-1). This victory prevents Sager from achieving a double, he who had won the CUPRA FIP Finals 2022 in Turin;
