The French were still in contention this Sunday on the  FIP Bronze Dakar  and the  FIP Bronze Hamburg . If  Johan Bergeron  et  Julien Seurin  continue their flawless run in Senegal with qualification for the final,  Camille Sireix  His impressive run in Germany came to an end in the semi-finals.

Bergeron and Seurin confirm their status

Second seed in the tournament,  Johan Bergeron  et  Julien Seurin  continue to unfold in Dakar.

After two perfectly controlled opening rounds and then a solid victory in the quarter-final against the 5th seed  Ryane Akram Amou / Guillermo Vera Cebollero  (6/3 7/6), the French have taken another step forward in the semi-final.

Opposed to the seed 4  Joel Oliveira Palos / Maher Hachem Bergeron and Seurin delivered a very solid performance to secure the win.  6 / 0 7 / 6 .

A one-sided first set saw the French completely stifle their opponents before a much more closely contested second set. Solid in the crucial moments, they managed to pull away in the tie-break to secure their place in the final.

A logical qualification given their level of performance since the beginning of the week.

A great title opportunity

In the final, Bergeron and Seurin will meet again  seeded 1 , composed of the Spanish  Pablo Pastor Landaburu  et  Luis Oliver Artigas .

A challenge met, but one well within reach for the French. Given their performances this week, they have a real opportunity to clinch the title and the valuable FIP points up for grabs in Dakar.

Sireix falls to the number 1 seed

The side of  FIP Bronze Hamburg The adventure ends in the semi-finals for  Camille Sireix  and his Dutch partner  Tess De Vocht .

After perfectly living up to their status as 3rd seeds in the quarter-finals with a victory  6 / 3 6 / 2  against the Germans  Milla Blaschke  et  Celina Ermann The Franco-Dutch pair were up against a tough opponent.

Facing the number 1 seeded team composed of  Martina Parmigiani  et  Bo Luttikhuis Sireix and De Vocht put up a good fight but ultimately lost.  6 / 4 6 / 4 .

A frustrating defeat but an encouraging run for the Frenchwoman, who confirms her consistency on the FIP circuit and leaves Hamburg with another semi-final to her credit.
