The two Frenchmen engaged on the Dubai side at FIP Silver Damac Dubai are eliminated in the first round:
Defeat for Harold Bernard (429e) and Luxembourgish Clement Pelt (502e), beaten 6/4 3/6 6/2 by the pair Ali Alarif / Eduardo Herrero Del Riego .
On their side, Mehdi Ketfi (NC) and Peter Potasch (1944e), from the qualifications, also did not get past the first round, with a 6/1 6/0 defeat against Manuel Muñoz Lozano (1475e) and Sebastian Saggiorato (1944e).
Boronad / Fonteny assure
FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup – Rome (Italy):
In men, the pair Yoan Boronad (271e) and Timeo Fonteny (235e) wins his first match against the Argentinian Lucas Danuzzo (601e) and Spanish Leon David Ruiz Shannon (337e), with a 6/4 6/2 victory. They will face the number 3 seed in the second round.
In the ladies, Jessica Ginier Barbier (117e) and Lucile Pothier (183e) won 7/6 6/3 against the Italians Martina Pugliesi (437e) and Paola Ciabattoni (176e).
Sichez / Duprat without solution
The French pair composed of Romain Sichez (1215e) and Bilal Duprat (1064e) faced the number 1 seed in the first round of the FIP Bronze Manama (Bahrain). Facing two very highly ranked players, Anthony Fernandez (45e) and Federico Mourino (57e), the French logically lost 6/1 6/2 without having been able to create a surprise.
End of qualifications for the FIP Silver Bristol (United Kingdom)
Rafael Marquet (1477e) and Spanish Pablo Chacon Diaz (1477e) failed at the gates of the main draw, beaten 6/1 6/3 by the Spaniards Alvaro Salgado Soriano (888e) and Jaime Lobo (834e) .
