The French are present almost everywhere this week on the  FIP Tour with several strong performances in the first round and now some  round of 16 to be played  across different tournaments. An overview.

FIP Silver Nola: Seux/Courrin solid, big test coming soon

A very good start to the tournament for  Thomas Seux / Nathan Courrin who dominated the Italian qualifiers  Crini / Forneris  on the score of  6 / 0 6 / 4 .

They thus advance to the round of 16 where a tough opponent awaits them: the 7th seed.  Patinotis / Axelsson .
A real test for the French.

Match scheduled  not before 12:30 p.m.  on the  Campo TSI Group .

In the ladies,  Carla Toully , associated with the Italian  Martina Parmigiani , enters directly into the round of 16 against  Pasini / Davato .
Match scheduled at  10am on the Campo Fisiolution .

Another notable performance:  Louise Bahurel / Ivet Val Lopez who cruised through their first round with a double  6 / 0 6 / 0 .
But in the round of 16, the challenge is immense against the 3rd seed.  Lucia Sainz / Araceli Martinez .
Match in  second rotation at 10 a.m. on the Campo Nusco .

FIP Bronze Seville: An all-French duel in the round of 16

Next stop: Seville with a clash of all-French teams right from the round of 16.

The French number 1  Alix Collombon , associated with  Jana Montes , enters directly into the competition against  Lou Lambert Agosti / Laura Sola Grau .

Lambert Agosti got his tournament off to a good start with a victory  3/6 6/1 6/2 .
But facing the number 1 seed, the challenge looks daunting.

Match scheduled for  9:30 p.m. on track 3 .

FIP Bronze Cyprus: several French players in contention

In the ladies,  Fiona Ligi / Charlotte Soubrié  will have a tough time against the number 2 seed  Chamli / Navarro Lopez .
Match at  10h on court 3 .

At men's,  Yoan Boronad / Nicolas Zurita (TS7)  got their tournament off to a perfect start with a  6 / 0 6 / 0  against David Gomez Fernandez / Pablo Calleja.
In the round of 16, they will face  Simon Yitbarek / Emil Okkels Jensen .

Match scheduled  not before 12pm on court 2 .

FIP Bronze Marrakech: Eliminations but also hopes

The Moroccan tournament proved more challenging for the French, with several eliminations in the first round:

  •  Raichman / Muesser  beaten  6 / 3 6 / 3  by Antonio Varo Ramos / Joel Olivera Palos
  •  Sichez / Dumoulin  eliminated after a huge battle  5/7 7/5 7/6  facing Groen / Groen
  •  Suzanna / Piombo  beaten  6 / 1 7 / 6  facing TS8 Mena / Moumar
  •  Biron / Basso  released by the TS6  6 / 3 6 / 1  Romera / Fuertes

But it's not all negative.

Arthur Hugounenq / Alexis Coulombeau  qualified authoritatively ( 6 / 0 6 / 2 ) and will face the 4th seed  Mourino / Alami Mohamed  in eighth grade.
Match in  second rotation at 11pm on the center court .

Another pair in the eighth position:  Ryan Ouabed / Théo Bergamaschi , winners of an all-French duel ( 5/7 6/2 6/4 ) against Motz / Virag.
They will face a huge challenge against the number 2 seed.  Cabeza / Gonzalez .

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
