A complicated week for the French entered in the FIP Tour, but one female pair is still holding out:  Charlotte Soubrié  et  Louise Bahurel  continue their adventure at  FIP Silver Mediolanum Cup of Palermo The two French players,  seeded 7 , qualified for the quarter-finals by dominating the pair  Mesa / Detriviere  (6/3 6/1).

They will face this Saturday  Ana Dominguez Gracia  et  Aida Martinez Sanjuan , seeded 3, in  second rotation of 9:30 p.m.  on court 3. A big test awaits them, against a solid Spanish pair.

 Utrecht: the French fall in the last sixteen 

The side of  FIP Silver from Utrecht Friday was not a good day for the French. Among the ladies,  Marie-Amelie Dardaine  and the Spanish  Nuria Molina  had nevertheless easily won in the first round against the Belgians  Moens / Vereertbrugghen  (6/1 6/1), before suffering the law of the seed 1,  Arruabarrena / Bidahorria  (6/0 6/0) in the next round.

In gentlemen,  Julien Seurin  et  Philemon Raichman  also lost in the last 16, against the local pair  Julian Prins / Youp De Kroon  (6/3 6/4). Now it's time for  Bordeaux P2  from today, where the two French will try to bounce back in qualifying.
