The International Padel Federation and the Portuguese Padel Federation do not get along. And this is not about to change. At the heart of the conflict: the 2019 European Championships.

The FIP would directly accuse the President of the Portuguese Federation, Ricardo Oliveira, to have used confidential information for the organization of theEuropean padel championship (organized by EPA: European Padel Association) which took place in Lisbon at the same time as the one organized by the FIP in Rome last November.

We hoped that in 2020, the war will end with the world padel 2020. But a priori, this will not be the case. The young worlds in Castellon resurfaces and it appears that the conflict between EPA and FIP continues.

Sad institutional decor and whatever it is: it does not help the promotion of padel.
