The International Federation of Padel and the Portuguese Federation of Padel do not get along. And that's not about to change. At the heart of the conflict: the 2019 European Championships.

The FIP would directly accuse the President of the Portuguese Federation, Ricardo Oliveira, to have used confidential information for the organization of theEuropean Championship padel (organized by EPA: European Padel Association) which took place in Lisbon at the same time as the one organized by the FIP in Rome last November.

It was hoped that in 2020, the war would end with the world of padel 2020. But a priori, this will not be the case. The young worlds in Castellon resurfaces and it appears that the conflict between EPA and FIP continues.

Sad institutional setting and anyway: it does not help the promotion of padel.
