While some rumors were circulating about a possible separation,  Timéo Fonteny and Yoan Boronad  want to re-establish the truth:  their common project is intact . This duo born in  Perpignan , reinforced at the  NOX Future Academy , then now based in  My Center Palavas , is more united than ever.

A logistical interlude, not a break

The two players will play separately on  two upcoming tournaments , but this is not a change of direction. The reason is simple:  Yoan is currently taking his driving test , which complicates his movements. By mutual agreement, they decided to take a short operational break.

This is how we will find  Timéo Fonteny alongside Benjamin Tison  when  FIP Gold of Gran Canaria . An association as unique as it is promising, between  the young gunner  et  the former French number 1 , now a member of the team  My Center Palavas . Almost naturally,  Tison now supports the best French talents in the academy , with whom he shares his daily life. An experienced right-wing player,  undefeated this season in France with Max Forcin , he will form with Fonteny an interesting duo to follow in the Canaries.

A strategy that is assumed… and pays off

Even if  some occasional freelance work with other partners  can be considered,  the Fonteny / Boronad pair is set to last The two young players have already demonstrated this in the past: these external experiences are seen as a  progression lever .  perform better together  on major objectives.

A tactic that is proving to be paying off, judging by their  first half of 2025 particularly successful Their complementarity on the ground, combined with their ability to adapt, allows them to approach major events with ambition and serenity.

The rest of the season is clearly outlined, with several key deadlines:

  • The  French Junior Championships 
  • Two  FIP tournaments  Events
  • A possible  wild card for Roland-Garros 
  • The  French Senior Championships 
  • And, in the line of sight, a  selection for the Junior World Championships 

But another major objective is emerging:  join the French senior team for the European Championships  together. More than ever,  Timéo and Yoan want to convince Pablo Ayma  that they have their place among the elite of French padel.

A year-end hand in hand

Whatever happens in the coming months, both players assure us:  they will finish the season together , with the firm intention of continuing their joint journey in 2026. Their dynamic, their mutual trust and their converging ambitions suggest a promising future.
