Le  France Grand Master  has an unexpected scenario in store for its semi-finals, with  two posters with very different profiles  : on one side,  surprise pairs playing their first semi-final , on the other hand,  experienced seeded players  in search of the title.

Sánchez / Florensa: historic first semi-final

The beautiful story of the tournament comes from Alfonso Sanchez and Joaquim Florensa , who reached their first semi-final on the circuit after a solid victory against Hernando / Oliver (6/4 6/4). Broken in the first game, their opponents never managed to come back despite several opportunities.

The turning point of the match? The physical problems of  Louis oliver , decreased in the back, who tried to shorten the stitches without success.  Sanchez and Florensa  were able to remain consistent, mentally strong, and validate a benchmark performance to give themselves a dream: a place in the final. They will face  Pedro Perry and Juampi Andrada , also novices at this level.

Perry / Andrada, the other fairy tale

The pair  portugo-argentina Perry / Andrada  continues its incredible run by winning in three sets against  Navarro / Lopez  (7/6 3/6 6/3). Solid in key moments, they dominated the first set tie-break and sealed their qualification after a controlled final set.

Pedro Perry  will try to become  the first Portuguese to win a major title since Miguel Oliveira in 2021 For their part, Navarro and Lopez can have some regrets after missing crucial breakaway opportunities.

Pereyra and De Pascual secure their status

The seeded 2  Ramiro Pereyra and Juan Ignacio De Pascual  had to fight to impose himself against  Morals / Sticky  (7/6 6/3). Trailing 1-4 in the first set, they were able to turn things around thanks to a heroic defense from Pereyra and better management of important moments.

They will meet the solid pair in the semi-finals  Goñi / Allemandi , for what looks like  the big poster of the day .

Goñi and Allemandi, experience in action

After a sluggish start to the match against  González / Arias ,  Aimar Goñi and Tito Allemandi  relied on their experience to turn the situation around. Trailing 2-5 in the first set, they turned the tide to win in the tie-break, before concluding in the second set (7/6 6/4).

With this victory, they reach their  fifth semi-final as a pair , and will try to impose their rhythm against the Argentinians Pereyra and De Pascual.

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
