Le naming officially enters the world of French padel. The La Rochelle-based company Freetness is proud to announce that it will become the “ first title sponsor of a padel complex in France "with Indoor Park Freedom, a unique project located in Bourges (18).
A first, or almost, in the French sports business which marks a new stage in the economic structuring of padel in France.
A 4,200 m² multi-sports complex
Faced with the rapid rise of padel and the lack of suitable infrastructure in the Cher department, three sports enthusiasts decided to take the plunge:
- Anthony Rade in charge of construction
- Thomas Faguet , head of development
- Nicolas Martin , future operator of the site
Their ambition: to create a modern and structuring multi-sports complex for the region.
The center will extend over 4 200 m² and will include:
- 5 padel courts
- 3 five-a-side soccer fields
- 3 badminton courts that can be converted into pickleball courts
- Changing rooms
- A seminar room
- A quiz room
- A reception/bar area 150m²
The goal is clear: to make Indoor Park Freetness a true place of life , combining sports practice, events, competitions and conviviality.

Naming rights, “almost” a first in French padel
Already widespread in major professional sports infrastructure, naming rights consist of permanently associating the name of a brand with a sports venue in exchange for a strategic partnership and long-term visibility.
This economic model, unprecedented in padel in France, is being applied for the first time to a complex dedicated to this sport. This approach illustrates the professionalization and the rise of padel in the French sporting landscape.
However, it should be noted that the Perpignan club, ViaPadel Rivesaltes recently became the “Ambiance Energie” club and will be one of the contributors to the next international padel tournament in April. (FIP Bronze)
Freetness, a key player in the market
A leader in the manufacture of outdoor sports equipment since 2011, with more than 4,500 sites installed in metropolitan France Freetness has established itself as a major player in the design of team sports fields and as a recognized player in the padel market.
As part of this project, the company will provide:
- state-of-the-art padel courts
- The grounds of Foot5
- And signs the official naming of the complex
This strategic partnership confirms the brand's desire to strengthen its visibility and its presence in the world of padel, while supporting structuring projects in the region.
A project launched in early 2026
The earthworks for the site are planned to January 2026 , with an opening announced in September 2026 .
Unique in the Cher department, Indoor Park Freedom aims to become a leading sports center, combining modern infrastructure, an innovative economic model and local dynamism.
With this first naming rights deal in French padel, the Bourges project opens a new path in the development of the sports business linked to indoor complexes.
