Many assumptions are made about the development of padel in France for the next few years. It will be important to cite these hypotheses while keeping a certain distance from the true scope that this sport can take in the years to come because the development of a new sport in a country can take decades.

Indeed, the development of a sport is a long process in which each actor will play an important role. We can expect a boom in padel in France in the next 5 years. The popularity of padel will grow little by little thanks to its players but above all thanks to the FFT which according to my estimate could attract several thousand licensees over the next 5 years.

In addition, we can expect the creation of 500 clubs of padel in France and the construction of 1000 padel in addition by 2020, (source: Padel Magazine)

Concerning the world professional circuit of padel, the club "Casa Padel In Saint-Denis could host a stage of the circuit in the years to come. In addition, the former Minister of Sports, Mr. Patrick Kanner, already proposed the padel as a presentation sport at the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. This shows France's interest in this sport and its ambition for future development. In addition, we can expect an empowerment of the padel, that is to say, the creation of the French Federation of padel who after good development would leave the accommodation offered by the FFT at padel in order to be autonomous and depend on itself.

Thus, after this description of this new sporting practice in France and its future prospects, it will be important to detail the idea that this new sport is part of a new social practice linked to the development of a new market. But also, think about the formation and development of this market and understand how the different actors (companies, clubs, players, etc.) have co-built this practice and the associated market.
