The association Chingotto/Galan have never done worse than a final since their debut in 2024. 12 tournaments, they have reached 12 endings. For COELLO/TAPIA, the statistics are just as exceptional: on 15 tournaments, they argued 14 endings. Sure Canal +, Robin Haziza believes that these two pairs have “killed the game (…) they have killed the competition”.

The magic between Galan et Chingotto operated immediately, without any real adaptation period, contrary to what one might have thought of this new association. For Galan, move from Lebron à Chingotto meant a change in strategy, positioning, and playstyle. One might have thought that it would take them time to adjust to this new dynamic, but that was not the case. Quite the opposite.

Some fans had anticipated a possible “three-way dance” with Lebron/Di Nenno, but it is clear that things will not happen soon. There are already tensions, even on the bench, to the point that Silingo had to reframe the “wolf”. But can it really be tamed?

One thing is certain: the year 2024 will be marked by the classic, and that's all.
