Le  P1 Miami  has reshuffled several cards in the world hierarchy. By winning the title,  Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto  have relaunched the struggle against the leaders  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia In women,  Bea González and Paula Josemaría  have also made a strong impact. An overview of  FIP ranking  and a  Race 2026  more contested than ever.

Tapia and Coello retain the top spot in the FIP rankings

Despite their defeat in the final in Miami,  Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia  remain firmly established at the top of the FIP rankings. Their lead is partly explained by the context of the previous edition: last year, both players were eliminated in the quarter-finals and therefore gain points this season.

Conversely,  Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto , who had won titles in Florida, were expected to defend their 2025 victory. Result: the gap between the two associations is widening slightly.

  • Tapia / Coello:  20 910 points
  • Galán / Chingotto:  17 340 points

The difference now reaches  3 570 points  between the first two pairs in the circuit.

Behind them, another notable movement concerns  Paquito Navarro , who climbs to sixth place in the world with  6 340 points , exceeding  Franco Stupaczuk  (6 315)

In the women's category, Triay and Brea remain in the lead.

In the women's rankings,  Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea  continue to dominate the hierarchy with  17 300 points maintaining a comfortable lead.

Behind them,  Ari Sánchez  occupies third place with  13 970 points , over  3 300 points  leaders.

The current dynamics mainly concern  Paula Josemaria and Bea Gonzalez who have just secured their second consecutive title. This success allows them to gradually move closer to the top spots:

  • Josemaría reached  13 880 points ,
  • González follows with  13 350 points .

The Malaga player is also gaining a bit of an advantage over  Claudia Fernández  (12 530)

A much closer 2026 race

While the FIP rankings remain relatively stable,  Race 2026, which only takes into account the season's results, offers a much more open competition , both in men and women.

At men's,  Tapia and Coello still hold first place , but their absence in the next stage could change everything.

An opportunity for Galán and Chingotto in Egypt

Le  NewGiza P2 , expected from  April 13-18 in Egypt This could mark a turning point. Without Tapia and Coello in the lineup,  Galán and Chingotto will have the opportunity to take the lead in the 2026 Race .

To achieve this,  a place in the final would be enough for them. .

A credible scenario for the Spanish-Argentine association, already crowned champions in Miami and  winner of the Egyptian tournament in 2025 .

Next stop on the circuit

After the suspension of  Major of Qatar , the circuit Premier Padel will therefore return directly to  NewGiza P2 where the best pairs in the world will try to score valuable points in what promises to be a particularly competitive season.
