We will therefore find the same protagonists in the final of this Genova P2, with a meeting which more than ever resembles a Classic.

A fierce fight in the first set

Difficult to decide between the two teams during the first set. However, the superpibes have been the first to break in this match, from the first service games of the world number 1s. However, the latter came back to the score very quickly, keen not to be left behind in this first set.

There was no other break in this round, with both teams playing at an almost equal level of play on the track. It is therefore no surprise that this first act headed towards a decisive tie-break.

There was not the same battle in this decisive game, the superpibes being cornered under the powerful blows of Coello and Tapia. The latter won the first round 7/6 (3).

Coello/Tapia supremacy

The second set was totally different from the first. Indeed, Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia returned to the track with a newfound confidencee after winning the first round. More in place in their game, the world numbers 1 broke from the start and took the lead in this round.

Conversely, the superpibes had a lot more trouble to counter the shots of Arturo and Agustin, letting the games slip away. However, the two Argentinians had the strength to recover one of the two breaks conceded.

However, this was not enough since the Spanish-Argentinian pair won this meeting on the service of their opponents: 7/6 (3) 6/2.

Gwenaelle Souyri

It was his brother who one day told him to accompany him on a track. padel, since then, Gwenaëlle has never left the court. Except when it comes to going to watch the broadcast of Padel Magazine, World Padel Tour… or Premier Padel…or the French Championships. In short, she is a fan of this sport.
