The qualifications of the Gijon P2 continue today with several French players still in the running to try to reach the main draw.
French-French clash: Vanbauce / Wagner vs Rouanet / Vincent
After their victory yesterday, Nicolas Rouanet and Pierre Vincent will have to face a big challenge by facing Thomas Vanbauce and Simon Wagner, seeded 3 in the qualifications. This 100% French duel guarantees a place for a French pair in the last round of the qualifications. The match will be played in the second rotation of 9am on the center court.
Boronad and Fonteny enter the race
Another tricolor pair expected today, Yoan Boronad and Timeo Fonteny, seeded 4, will play their first match of the qualifications against the Italians Matteo Platania and Matteo Sargolini. It will be the second match of the 9am rotation on court 2.
Raichman and Nolten for a place in the next round
Philemon Raichman and his Dutch partner Menno Nolten (TS2) will also try to continue their adventure. They will play their match in next match Vanbauce / Wagner vs Rouanet / Vincent, with the aim of reaching the decisive round of qualifying.
