The list of  registered players  for the  Gijón Premier Padel P2  is now known, but it reveals a large number of absences, particularly in the  masculine chart . At only  three days  As of the closing date for registrations, several major names are still missing.

The question remains:  Will we see an influx of last minute players?  to complete the picture?

Gijón P2: many absences three days before the closing

At the  gentlemen , no player of the  world top 10  is not registered, thus providing an opportunity for  second knives  to win an important title in Spain.  paul cardona  et  Leo Augsburg  currently form the  number 1 seed  of the tournament. However, the list could change quickly, since there are still  three days  before registration closes.

Speaking on  the official poster  of the tournament, we find  Paquito Navarro, Franco Stupaczuk and Sanz …all three are currently absent from the tournament. A situation that could lead the organizers to  challenge Premier Padel  on these inconsistencies. This is not a first: in  2024 , the circuit had already encountered this kind of  main , with headliners highlighted in the communication but ultimately absent from the tournament.

Among  French ,  Dylan Guichard  is listed alongside  Clement Geens  en  19th position , while the pair  100% French   Thomas Vanbauce / Simon Wagner  occupy the  24th position . But with the many absences noted so far, it would not be surprising to see several pairs of the  top 50  try to take advantage of the opportunity to  collect valuable points  in view of the rest of the season.

At the  Women , the pair  Alix Collombon / Araceli Martínez  occupy the  16th position , while the new pair  Franco-Spanish   Léa Godallier / Ariadna Cañellas Bellver  shown in  24th position . In  31th position , we find  Carla Touly and Ana Dominguez . Be careful, among the ladies too,  changes  in the hierarchy could intervene from here  next Friday .
