We are looking to organize events of padel promotional activities in the region, by inviting our colleagues, directors of the regional university leagues, to meet the local players in the padel. In a few years, we wish to lead to the establishment of academic championships qualifying for a France U championship.

FFSU works with disciplinary federations through national mixed commissions. From high-level development, from leadership training to organizing events.

the FFSU offers a space where it is possible to experiment, to innovate ... Students, teachers are often very responsive and outgoing for new activities.

In football, we have for example introduced the yellow card with 10 minutes of exclusion.

In basketball 3 × 3, we propose since 5 years a championship of France U. The students are fond of it, we thus contribute, in partnership with the FFBB, which supports us in the process, to spread a "culture" of this new practice .

It is our role to put in place the padel in connection with the FFT to help its development and its appropriation by the students of today who the leaders of tomorrow

Relationship with the FFT

Madame Froissart is a member of the national mixed commission of TENNIS - PADEL and as such the elected representative of the FFT to the FFSU.

In addition to the organization of the Master'U BNP Paribas, we have therefore launched with the various organizations the brand new Coupe de France Universitaire de Padel-BnP Paribas Trophy, launched this season.

This competition will be approved by the FFT. The French Cup of padel U will include 2 distinct events: Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles.

The chosen format is: 2 sets of 4 games, no ad, decisive game at 3 / 3, 3th set super decisive game at 10 points (6 format).

Le padel university, an initiative that comes from Lille?

In Lille, my colleagues have introduced the padel in the regional university challenge of sports associations. The enthusiasm was immediate, it was the right moment to try to launch the activity at the national level with the support of the FFT.
