Mission accomplished for  Léa Godallier and Giorgia Marchetti Seeded fourth in qualifying, the Frenchwoman and the Italian lived up to expectations by winning against  Carla Touly / Camila Fassio  on the score of  6 / 2 6 / 4  in 1h29 of play.

A controlled success that opens the doors to  Gijon P2 final standings .

 Mastery in key moments 

While the first set was clearly dominated (6-2), the second was much closer. At 4-4, Godallier and Marchetti managed to break serve at the perfect moment before closing out the set solidly on their own serve.

The difference lay in the numbers:

  •  80% of break points converted  for Godallier / Marchetti
  • Seulement  14%  for Touly / Fassio
  •  50% of the points earned on the return , compared to 33% for their opponents

Significantly superior efficiency on key points and a more impactful return clearly tipped the scales.

 Confirmed momentum 

This success is part of a very good start to the season:

  •  Round of 16 at Riyadh P1 
  •  Final at the FIP Silver Dubai 
  • And now a  new final table in Premier Padel 

The Franco-Italian duo is gaining momentum week after week.

 What was the draw for the first round? 

Now all that remains is to find out their opponents in the main draw. A favorable draw against a Spanish wild card is possible and could open the door to another round of 16 appearance. Premier Padel.
