After a convincing first round,  Léa Godallier  and the Spanish  Patricia martinez fortun  hoped to validate their ticket for the  main board  du  Tarragona Premier Padel P1 . Opposed to the  seeded 4 ,  Noemi Aguilar Carrillo  et  Julia Polo Bautista , the two players fought a battle… but ended up giving in after three sets:  6/7(1) 6/4 2/6 .

 A tight match  

The start of the meeting is balanced, until the  tie-breaker Unfortunately for the Franco-Spanish duo, the Spanish women raised their game at the decisive moment and won the first round.  7 points to 1 .

Godallier and Martinez are not giving up.  Stronger on return  In the second set, they converted the important opportunities to equalize at one set each ( 6/4 ).

But the third act turns to the advantage of Aguilar and Polo.  More effective in their commitments  (57% of points won on first serve), they quickly took off and won  6/2  after  2h14 of match .

For  first tournament together , both players showed some good things, despite the frustration of stopping so close to the goal.  No entry into the final table  so for Léa Godallier.

 Collombon, the last French hope 

With this elimination,  Alix Collombon  stay here  last French woman in the running  in Tarragona. She will soon debut in the main draw alongside her partner  Araceli Martinez , with the aim of going far.
