The ladies' final  FIP Bronze Marnes  is now known and it will pit the 2nd seed against each other  Léa Godallier / Lucia Peralta Exposito  in Argentina  Daria Agustin Valenzuela / Maria Laura Ferreyra , authors of a big upset in the semi-final.

In front of his audience in France,  Léa Godallier  qualified perfectly for the final alongside the Spaniard  Lucia Peralta Exposito .

The Franco-Spanish pair largely dominated their semi-final against the 3rd seed.  Aida Martinez Sanjuan / Camila Fassio Goyeneche  with a clear victory:  6 / 2 6 / 3 .

For a recent partnership, the understanding between the two players already seems very strong. In this semi-final,  Lucia Peralta Exposito  made a huge difference in the offensive phases, multiplying winning shots and often gaining the upper hand in the rallies.

For its part,  Léa Godallier  delivered a very clean and consistent performance, perfectly finding the right areas to put his partner in the best conditions.

On the other side, the Spanish women made far too many unforced errors to hope to compete.  Camila Fassio Goyeneche , who suffered a physical injury to her calf in the second set and was forced to call on the physiotherapist, also experienced many difficulties.

Statistics confirm the dominance of the Franco-Spanish pair:

  •  31 winning points  against 19
  •  4 break points converted out of 9 
  • available in only  24 unforced errors  against 33 for their opponents

A very solid performance which allows Godallier and Peralta Exposito to logically reach the final.

In the other semi-final, the Argentinians  Daria Valenzuela  et  Maria Laura Ferreyra  (TS4) created the biggest surprise of the tournament.

Not favorites against the number 1 seed  Giorgia Marchetti / Marta Borrero Two players ranked in the world's Top 50 pulled off a huge comeback to win:  3/6 6/3 6/3 .

After losing the first set, the two Argentinians gradually gained momentum, imposing more and more intensity in the exchanges against a Marchetti/Borrero pair that began to decline physically.

Thanks to this performance, they reached the final of the tournament.

The final now promises a great contest between the 2nd seed and the Argentinian surprise of the tournament.

On paper, it's  Léa Godallier  et  Lucia Peralta Exposito  They will start as favorites. In front of her home crowd in France, the French number 2 will undoubtedly be keen to win the title at home.
