The party is in full swing at Greenweez Paris Major in the legendary Roland Garros stadium. On this Wednesday, October 2, the round of 16 will begin… with the entry into the competition of the best pairs in the world!

As a reminder, due to unpredictable weather in the Paris region, the schedule has changed significantly, forcing some matches in the round of 16 to be played on Tuesday, October 1st. Some schedule changes may therefore occur.

Four French players will be followed in this second round of the Major. 11 h, Bastien Blanqué et Johan Bergeron will be back on the Philippe Chatrier for keeping the dream alive in the capital. A task that is not announced simply since the “BB” will play the seed 12: Maxi Sanchez and Lucho Capra.

In the third rotation, still on the central track, Léa Godallier and Giorgia Marchetti will have a great match to play against Sara Ruiz and Carla Mesa (TS15). This season, the Franco-Italian pair has already been able to take out players ranked higher than them and, in Paris, they will have a whole crowd behind them to repeat the performance!

Just after Léa's match, we will find the French number 1, Alix Collombon, still accompanied by Araceli Martinez. The Franco-Spanish duo will play their match against a dangerous pair: Nuria Rodriguez / Carolina Orsi. Very in form this season, the Italian-Spanish pair could well annoy Alix and her partner. However, in Paris, the Lyonnaise will be pushed by the spectators!
