The quarter-finals of  P1000 No Ad Padel at Reims  They delivered some great surprises, with two major seeds falling. While part of the draw remained true to form, the other part was completely reshuffled, offering an open and exciting scenario heading into the semi-finals.

Inzerillo / Choppe bring down the favorites

It is  the big sensation  of these quarter-finals.
Jérôme Inzerillo and Victor Choppe  eliminate the 1nd seed,  Philemon Raichman and Yanis Muesser , yet they were touted as the tournament's top favorites.

At the end of a  huge fight Inzerillo and Choppe prevail  7/6 2/6 7/6 , in the third set tie-break. A very close, intense match, where the underdogs managed to stay mentally strong in the key moments.

Raichman/Muesser remained on a  good FIP Silver from Caen  and arrived in Reims with the ambition of winning the title. But the Inzerillo/Choppe duo played their cards perfectly.

Sichez/Lambrechts knock out the 3rd seed

Another notable surprise:  Romain Sichez and Nathan Lambrechts  knock out the third seeded team,  Nathan Courrin and Norman Sanchez , on the score of  7 / 6 6 / 4 .

A solid victory for a pair who are used to playing together, especially on the  international circuit Their cohesion and consistency made the difference against Courrin/Sanchez.

The favorites are performing well in the other half of the bracket

In the upper part, the hierarchy was generally respected.

The seed 2,  Adrien Maigret and Maxime Deloyer had to fight hard but ultimately prevailed against  Olivier / Machi  after losing the first set:
 6/7 6/2 6/1 .

In the other quarter-final,  Mathis Dupont-Brimbeuf and Guillaume Ledrap  confirm their strength by dominating  Jules Marie and Mathieu Paumard  on the score of  6 / 1 6 / 4 .

 Very open semi-finals

The semi-final matchups promise a  very high level of play , with two evenly matched encounters:

  •  Maigret / Deloyer  vs  Dupont-Brimbeuf / Ledrap
  •  Sichez / Lambrechts  vs  Inzerillo / Choppe

Benjamin Dupouy

I discovered padel directly during a tournament, and frankly, I didn't really like it at first. But the second time, it was love at first sight, and since then, I haven't missed a single match. I'm even ready to stay up until 3am to watch a final of Premier Padel !
